Invitation to support the EMBO Workshop 2018
Co-organized by the Stem Cell Society Singapore
Co-organized by the Stem Cell Society Singapore
On behalf of the Stem Cell Society Singapore (SCSS), we would like to invite you to participate and support the EMBO Workshop “Molecular Mechanisms of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine” held at Biopolis Campus in Singapore on the 11 - 13 November 2018. This year’s theme is basic research oriented being very much in line with SCSS’s objective of switching between a basic research and a more applied focus of the SCSS Annual Symposium in alternate years.
This year, EMBO and the Stem Cell Society Singapore will host a meeting focusing on the fundamentals of development and regeneration. The meeting will include sessions on totipotency, pluripotency, emergent somatic stem cells, tissue stem cell function, germline specification/development and regenerative model systems. The overarching theme connecting these sessions is how cell identity is maintained or re-specified. These fast-moving fields are being revolutionized by advances in high throughput sequencing, microscopy, single cell analyses and organoid technologies. We anticipate that this meeting will advance research in the above fields by stimulating interactions and sparking collaborations between participants.
Participants will have unique opportunities to learn and discuss the current progress on these topics in Europe, Asia and the world, and interact with professionals and trainees from academic, industrial and clinical communities.
Do not miss this unique opportunity to showcase the capabilities of your organization to support Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology research worldwide!
